Said Communion, Sunday 8.30am
A quiet, said service of Holy Communion
in church - except on the first Sunday of the month, which is a traditional
celebration of Choral Matins with a robed choir.
Family Praise, Sunday 10.15am
A relaxed, family-friendly service, with drinks and toast available from 9.30am onwards. This service is usually in the church hall, except on major festival days such as Harvest or Christmas.
The1st Sunday of each month includes communion.
Evening Worship, Sunday 6.30pmThe evening service is always in church
and follows a set pattern each month.
1st Sunday:
Choral Communion, with the choir.
2nd Sunday:
A celebration of traditional choral evensong, led by a full choir.
3rd Sunday:
4th Sunday
A short evening service (45 mins)
written and led by St John's Youth Group.
Said Communion, Thursday 9.30am
Thursday mornings offer a spoken
communion service, followed by coffee and biscuits.
Special Services
Changes to this pattern because of festivals and holidays will be advertised in the parish magazine, in the church porch and on this website.
Church Opening Saturday Morning
The church is always open on Saturday
mornings, from 10am to 12 noon. Come and enjoy some time in this beautiful
setting. Coffee and cake available, free of charge.
